Online Flight Booking Platform
Product design for one of South Africa's leading travel booking platforms.
Travelstart is an online travel agency headquartered in Cape Town, selling across its African markets. Booking a flight is the kind of task people do rarely and under pressure, with money and dates they cannot easily change.
We reworked the booking process with the Travelstart team, from the first search through to a confirmed seat. We then redesigned Travelstart Hotels and Travelstart Buses, two separate websites whose UI and branding had been inconsistent, onto one shared component system. We worked directly with Travelstart's in-house developers, who built the app and both sites.
