What Hominum does
Hominum builds digital products for institutions in public health, finance and education. What used to take a floor of people now takes two. We work across research, design and code, with processes refined over decades and now accelerated by AI.
You'll be working with partners who are close to everything, including the build, which means decisions around UX, design and development get made at the desk rather than in a review.
When the work needs specialised skills, the studio calls on a network it has built and vetted over years: developers, researchers and designers the partners have worked with before. Whichever way a project is staffed, you deal with partners from the first conversation to the last handover, and they answer for every step.

Nicol Ronga
Founder & Director
Nicol leads strategy, research and project management. He has been doing UX since before it had that name, more than 20 years ago. He runs the research that decides what gets built, and keeps every project honest about what users actually said.
Nic Louw
Founder & Creative Director
Nic leads design and execution. Over 20 years in creative strategy, digital product design and branding, for advertising agencies, universities and private companies. When no external development team is involved, he designs and builds the front end himself.
