This Cookie Policy explains how Hominum Pty Ltd ("Company," "we," "us," and "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on our website at https://www.hominum.digital ("Website"). It explains what these technologies are, what we store in your browser, and what we deliberately do not.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small data files that a website places on your computer or mobile device. Websites use them to remember you between pages and between visits. Cookies set by the website you are on are called first-party cookies; cookies set by anyone else are called third-party cookies, and they can recognise your browser across every site that embeds them. Browsers also offer storage that never leaves your device, such as localStorage and sessionStorage, and this policy covers those technologies too.
Do we set analytics cookies?
No. We measure how the Website is used with PostHog, an analytics service, and we run it without cookies. What the measurement needs while you read a page lives in that page's memory and is discarded when you close the tab. Nothing about your visit is written to your device, and nothing recognises you when you come back: a returning visitor counts as a new one.
The analytics data itself travels to PostHog's servers in the European Union and is processed and stored there.
What do we store in your browser?
The Website keeps three values in your browser's own storage. All are first-party, none is sent anywhere, and none identifies you.

What about third parties?
The forms on our contact page use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people apart from automated spam. The check runs inside a frame served by Cloudflare, and Cloudflare may set cookies scoped to its own domain to do that work. Those cookies are governed by Cloudflare's privacy policy, and they appear only when the check runs. No other third party sets cookies through the Website, and we serve no advertising.
How can I control this?
There is no consent banner on the Website because nothing here needs one: we set no cookies, and the three storage values above only make the site work the way you left it. Your browser gives you full control regardless. Its settings let you inspect, block, or clear stored data for any site, and the Website keeps working if you do, though it will forget your theme and play its opening animation again.
How often will we update this Cookie Policy?
We update this Cookie Policy when what the Website stores changes, or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. The date at the top of this page says when it was last updated.
